“The four prosecuted anarchists for the case “comrades” are brought to trial on February 6th 2023 (Athens Court of Appeal), charged with membership in the allegedly terrorist group “comrades” as well as three attacks. A trial that attempts, on the one hand, to politically target the whole movement through the persecuted comrades, and on the other, to financially help the comrades with excessive legal fees. The continual dismissal of pleas to lift the temporary restraining orders, coupled with the trial on February 6th, 2023, place the charged comrades in a situation of financial strangulation.”
