We are sorry to announce tomorrow’s event is cancelled, the main band already cancelled and it doesn’t make much sense for us to do the benefit when only 70 visitors (plus 30 volunteers/band members) can come. On Monday we will update on other events in the future once we know what’s going on. Cheers!
The long version:
Unfortunately, the government today has announced stricter social distance rules in the Netherlands… We have discussed tomorrows event, and since Moskwa have already had to cancel their tour, and now that we would only be able to have 100 people in the Vrankrijk in total, we have made the decision to postpone the Syrian Refugees Benefit to a later date.
If this event was to go on tomorrow, we would only be able to have 70 visitors after our volunteers and the band members were already counted, which would go some way towards covering the costs, but raising minimal $$$ for our benefit.
This was a difficult decision to make but coupled with the uncertainty of the current situation, this seems the best option at this point. We’re really sorry to everyone who was planning to attend, please spread the word through your networks so as many people as possible are aware.
Another important point: On Monday we will again review this changing situation with regards other upcoming events. At the moment, no further decisions have been made with regards the coming events!! We will post here on Monday night with another update about how this will be going forward, based on the situation then.
Take care of yourselves and each other, much love, Vrankrijk Crew.
